And just a couple weeks ago I was talking to a couple 50+ year old neighbors about menopause and holding my own quite well with the hormone talk, even schooling them in a couple areas. I did ask the doctor about my period going out of whack 2 years ago, and he said I could take the pill. (bcp) (which of course didn't sit well with TTC) But since you have those plans in place it may be worth considering getting some kind of hormonal balance for your body, whether it is bcp or Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT)Valeryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10210187335704409247noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38792679.post-59927172616872735002011-04-05T00:23:55.737-05:002011-04-05T00:23:55.737-05:00I'm 30 and going through this if it makes you ...I'm 30 and going through this if it makes you feel any better. My first period (not sure if it was me or missing a couple pills that caused it) was heavy like that. It was like that for a day or two then tapered off. I would say if it lasts longer than that to possibly call. I don't iron would be a bad idea.Michelle Dhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18344980628402079740noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38792679.post-1197067180723102012011-04-04T13:35:57.576-05:002011-04-04T13:35:57.576-05:00You poor thing! Maybe it's worth giving the doctor a call, though my cycle has been strange too (I had two sing Oliver's birth), starts heavier than before, then after a 3/4 days seems to taper off just to start full flow again for a day or so and then it's over. Does it sound similar? I do take iron.<br />Love, FranFranhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05717020378275616297noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-38792679.post-80185457774491577512011-04-04T10:48:31.737-05:002011-04-04T10:48:31.737-05:00I'm sorry.
