Reinforcement

Today is CD3 so I drank my 1L of water and headed off to the clinic (driven by H.) for my external and internal ultrasounds and blood work. I got to the clinic around 8:20am and it was dead for once. Yay, no waiting! I got poked twice - once in the arm and she couldn't get any blood and once in the back of the hand. Then it was off for my external ultasound - run to the bathroom - and back for the internal. I met with the nurse (R.) afterwards because I need to get some information from them for our trip to Czech Republic (CR). Turns out I have no visible follies on the left and 3 on the right. It will be interesting to see what my FSH is today. This just reinforces for me that moving to DE is the right decision.

UPDATED

Blood results
FSH 12.6
E2 65

Go back on Day 6 (Thursday) for follow up.

Don't you sometimes want to just grab the needle and get your own blood?!

I'm sorry about the follicle count and yet glad that it helps secure your decision. You will soon be on your way!

Sending you an email...

Sorry to hear about the follicle count, but I am glad that it helped you feel more comfortable with your decision. Miracles can happen so you never know.
I am so excited for you and can't wait to cheer you on!

I'm glad you're feeling good about your decision. I have a low antral follicle count, too - I am told it goes with the high FSH territory. Looking forward to your update after your follow-up appointment.

Oh hun...I feel your pain with the multiple sticks for the blood draw. I swear the nurse at the clinic we did IVF with must have been BLIND, I never got out of there with out at least a few large bruises. lol

Anyhow, I hope this cycle is "the one" for you. I can't wait to cheer you on.
